Festival Event Design Services

OUR DESIGN PROCESS

We will meet with you and discuss your event concept in detail. If needed we will visit your site or facility to do a "site survey". This entails getting the measurements, observing the conditions, noting all buildings and utilities present and begin drawing the "base plan".

Some parks, cities and facilities already have CAD versions available. In these instances, we simply acquire them and then format the base plans provided.

Once the base plan is ready, we identify and size the components of your event. These components can include: stages, food vendors, merchandise vendors, tents, tables & chairs, entrances & exits, sanitation equipment, generators, attractions, signage locations, fencing, parking areas, VIP areas, and other areas specific to your event.

Working with you, we place the various components on the base plan in a configuration that compliments the event and also complies with local ordinances if neccessary.

During the design process, things will change. Sponsors may want specific areas created for them, vendors may move, entertainment production will have very specific requirements. We will revise the drawings according to your direction and provide you with copies in any format you need. Generally, an AutoCAD electronic file, along with  fullsize (usually 22" x 34") bond copies, and perhaps a PDF file. If you provide us a distribution list, we will even send copies to whomever you choose.

Also, at your request, we will mark the site prior to load-in. Our designer will go to the venue and basically paint or flag what is on the approved plan directly on site.

For large events we would prefer to be on site at your venue for the load-in. This will ensure that everything is placed in its proper location and note any last minute changes that may occur.

Once your event is completed we will provide you with an "As-Built" drawing, detailing the final configuration, for your records.
